Sweet Money Brown Sugar Maple Rack of Pork

  • 1 Smithfield® Rack of Pork (5 to 8 ribs)
  • 2/3 cup plus 1 1/2 teaspoons Sweet Money BBQ Rub or your favorite BBQ seasoning
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup real maple syrup
  • 1/2 tablespoon butter


  1. Heat grill or smoker for indirect cooking at 250°F. Combine 2/3 cup Sweet Money BBQ Rub and brown sugar; mix well. Liberally coat all sides of pork.
  2. Combine maple syrup, 1 ½ teaspoons Sweet Money BBQ Rub and butter in small saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until melted together.
  3. Grill pork, meat side up, until internal temperature reaches 100°F., about 40 minutes. Baste top side of meat with maple syrup mixture. Continue cooking until internal temperature reaches 145°F. to 160°F., basting every 20 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes before slicing to serve.
